RICK MICHEL BIO

 RICK MICHEL has been a master impressionist for over forty years. Michel has considered himself lucky to have had shared the stage with many successful celebrities as Rich Little, Mickey Rooney, John Byner and Sherman Hemsley just to name a few. Some of the esteemed guests who have enjoyed Michel’s impersonations include Frank Sinatra, President Gerald Ford, Tony Curtis, Jerry Lewis, and Steve Allen.

 A memorable highlight of Michel’s career came when he performed his impression of Bob Hope for the comedic icon himself, at the Bob Hope Celebrity Golf Classic in Palm Springs. Other career highlights included appearing in an episode of “Baywatch” which was written especially for Rick to showcase his talents (performing no less than 16 voices), America’s Funniest People” and the “Larry King Show”.

 Performing in Las Vegas since 1981, Michel has been up one end of the Strip and down the other. From the Stratosphere Hotel to the Tropicana and stopping off at such places as the Sands Hotel (where Michel performed no less than 12 different Production shows including “The Rich Little Show”-“ Sid and Marty Krofft ‘Comedy Kings’ Puppet Show”, “Playboy Girls of Rock and Roll” “Viva Las Vegas” as well as opening for such headliners as George Wallace, Rita Rudner and John Pinette). The Dunes, The Star Dust and many more classic Las Vegas Hotels have seen Mr. Michel talents and he has enjoyed Las Vegas being home as well as his work place.

 Involved in several charity events including 7 of the 11 Michael Finney’s “Dry Heat Classic” Tournaments (setting a record 101 voices in less than 4 ½ minutes in 2006), the Salvation Army Christmas Toys for Tots, Fox 5 “Take 5 for Kids” Suitcase Drive, Help Them Walk Again Foundation and Make a Difference Day, Michel always seems to find time to give back to the communities.

 Now producing his own shows: “Drinkin’-Singin’-Swingin’ Salute to Frank Sinatra-Sammy Davis Jr.-Dean Martin (Michel plays Dean Martin), “Sinatra Forever” (Michel singing with a 46 – piece San Jose Philharmonic Orchestra in Costa Rica) and of course showcasing “The Rick Michel Variety Show”, featuring a full range of voices for all walks of life.
